Why only one role per team member?
Why is a team member limited to being assigned only one role? Many people in my organization can wear more than one hat - a lead software developer can also perform as a regular software developer.

Upvote. We're a small company, and many of our team members wear multiple hats. We're evaluating Wrike Resource to see if it will meet our needs, and this is a significant issue. Without the ability to assign team members to multiple roles, this feature is likely unusable for us.
Yes! This - I'd like to apply multiple roles to many of the members of our groups. Our students are in one role but one is a graphic design student and one is a copywriter student - I'd like them to also live in the designer and writer roles. I also have graphic designers that are also picked up for video projects, some are graphic designer and animation. I think it would help us quickly define skillsets and know what our pool for various projects looks like by sorting by their role.
Also - in the workload chart, it would be AMAZING if we could sort by or group by their roles so as we are assigning work, we can quickly see what the writers have going on right next to each other rather than having to scroll through a list of people to find them and without having to have multiple workload charts.
Yes, we would love this as well! Many perform multiple roles depending on the project. We'd love to assign roles to stages in a workflow and then choose whole will fulfil the role for that task / workflow.
Hey everyone, apologies for the delay in response here.
While the team is interested in this suggestion, there are no plans to add this idea to the short-term roadmap. If there are any changes here, I'll be sure to keep you posted.
