[From Wrike] Stay on Top of Your Work: To-do Lists in Wrike ๐
- You've been assigned to a task.
- You've been added as an approver to a task with file Approvals.
- You add a task manually to your "My to-do" by clicking the pin icon in the task view, or right clicking on a task in the list view.
- When you @mention a user on a task, Wrike will share it with the user and will add them as a task follower automatically.
- @mentioning a user on a folder or a project, on the other hand, shares it with that user but they do not start following it by default.
- Inbox

- Email notifications

- Daily to-do email whichย notifies you about: 1) Tasks assigned to you and which are scheduled for today or whose scheduled range includes today, and 2) Overdue tasks created by you.ย
- Daily digest email whichย contains information about changes (comments, description updates, etc) which occurred in the last 24 hours to tasks you follow.
- The word "please" or a question mark is in the comment.
- You didn't make any changes to the item where you were @mentioned in the 24 hours after you were @mentioned.
Thanks for explaining this! Does it work that way with project owners as well? Our team is comprised of project managers so we don't necessarily get assigned to specific tasks, but it would be helpful if we could use this kind of tracking too.ย
Also, I'm so glad you mentioned that a missed @mention gets triggered when a comment contains a question mark or the word "please" - how neat! I had no idea. Thanks for that little tidbit of fun and useful info!
Hey Maghan Fleming, thank you for reaching out! You can only view the tasks in My to-do. But there are other ways to track notifications on projects. First of all, if someone gets @mentioned in the project's stream, they will get a notification in their Inbox. Then I'd also recommend taking a look at Wrike's Automation Engine - it's possible to set up automation to get notifications after certain conditions are met.
