[Status: Not Planned] Choose a Specific Image for Cover Image

This is important to us as well.

A related minor point: I cannot drag a file from the Chrome download bar to a Wrike task and upload it. I have to use Windows Explorer.

Would really like both of these issue to be addressed as would really improve my workflow. I like being able to personalise what I see so that I can quickly glance at the board and know what is going on. Also dragging a download file across straight from the chrome window would really speed things up. Trello already does both.

Elaine how do we get it to the "60+ threshold" would that be how many people follow the original suggestion? 

It would be super beneficial for my Team's workflow as well. We will be transitioning to Wrike from Trello. I am structuring our Wrike Space to be as visually similar to what they are accustomed to for quick user adaptation.

I have been needing this functionality for years. Using the power of the board view for our manufacturing needs is crucial. We use the image in the task to differentiate from arbitrary part numbers. When anyone adds an image to the task, it is tedious to “re-upload” the cover image.

Hopefully this will be implemented sooner than later.

The reason it's important is that we have a steering committee team that reviews product ideas submitted by employees.  These are top level executives that only use Wrike for a couple of things, and this is one of them.  We use the board format, and it would be very helpful if each card had a picture that represented that product idea.  The problem is that the author may attach several images, and only the last one attached ends up being the "cover image".  Unfortunately, the last image is usually the worst example of the product.  It just seems odd that the image shown is called the "cover image", but the best image to meet that title is essentially random.

Cannot understand why this hasnt been implemented seeing as the questions in this thread go back over 5 years. 

I was considering switching over from Trello but unfortunately this will halt our transition.
