Numeric custom field set to no decimal still gives me decimal....
I'll take part of the blame for setting a Zip Code custom field to a numeric type when they can have hyphens in them.... But if I tell a custom field no decimal, I assume I'll get integers. Yet I'm getting floats with .0. :(
Bug or feature?
Hi Roger Asbury, thank you for bringing this to our attention. I have opened a ticket with our Support Team so that they can investigate your case and help you with it. One of our agents will reach out to you very soon 👍
When I try to enter a zip code that begins with a 0 in my zip code custom field, the zero doesn't populate once I hit enter.
Thanks for reaching out Erin Flynn! I can see you've already discussed this with our Support team. For anyone else reading this thread, what Erin describes is expected due to the number formatting. If you require to add the number 0 at the start of the numbers, you will need to select the text format. Hope it's helpful!

I would prefer if we could set up special numerical fields, similar to what Excel gives you options for, for example Zip, Zip+4, phone number, SSN. Do you think there is a possibility of that update in the future?
Thanks Erin Flynn, it's not planned currently but I'll pass your feedback to the team 👍
