Feature Updates
- Custom Fields - Manage Custom Fields from Settings ๐๏ธ
Account owners and admins can now manage all custom fields in the account from the Account Management. They can change the field type, delete the field, change sharing settings, and change to which items the field should apply. Learn more on the Help Center.

- AI Recommended Tasks - Change the Section Location ๐ค
Now you can move the Recommended tasks section up and down the Home page, just like you do with Spaces and other widgets there.

- Wrike Views - Pin Custom Views to My Home ๐
From now on you can pin not only folders and projects but also selected custom views for the particular folders and projects to My Home. To do so, open the custom view and click the pin icon next to its name at the top of your workspace.

Please note that starting October 20, 2020, Wrike Views is a part of the New Wrike Experience. You will still see this feature in your account if you have enabled it from Wrike Labs before.
- Project - End Dates Following Start Dates in Creation Wizard ๐๏ธ
Now when you set the start date of a project in the future (for example next month), the calendar of the end date will automatically open to the next month, so no additional scroll is needed.

- Workload Charts - New Display Options for Allocated Effort โฒ๏ธ
Before: The total allocated effort was always displayed in hours.
Now: There are two more options - Percentages and Full-time equivalents (FTE). With Percentages, the allocated effort is shown as a percentage of the total capacity. And the FTE display option shows how much of the capacity FTE is taken up by the allocated effort using decimals.
For example, 4 hours of allocated effort with the standard 8-hour daily capacity will be displayed as 50% or 0.5 FTE on the daily zoom with these two display options, respectively. You can learn more on the Workload charts page.

- Custom Fields - External Users Rights Removed ๐
External users can no longer create or edit custom fields.

- Account Management - Calendar Public Links Sharing Settings Moved ๐
Before: you could enable/disable sharing calendars via public links from the separate section in your account security settings.
Now: you have to scroll down to External sharing policy and check the box there.

- New Wrike Experience - Collapsible Titles in the Left-hand Navigation ๐
In the left-hand navigation of the New Wrike Experience workspace, you can now collapse the Tools and Projects and folders sections. To do that, just click on the title of the section, and its content is gone. Click the title again to get it back.

- Spaces - Flag Icons are Back! โณ
The ability to add a country flag as a space icon is back!

- Wrike for iOS - Ver.4.4.0 ๐ฑ
What's new:
-Voice: Try asking Siri to create tasks or open your to-do list.
-Shortcuts: Quickly access specific parts of the app (like your to-do list or dashboards) by creating shortcuts.
-File links: Link people directly to the file you want to share.

Fixes:
-Sometimes, when opening the app, it would freeze on the loading screen. It won't do that anymore.
-Some files were uploading twice; now they'll only upload once.
-Our tutorial animations weren't working sometimes. We got them moving again.
-Some SharePoint file icons weren't loading properly. That's fixed.

What's new:
Work offline with ease: changes made on mobile are now synced more reliably and quickly. From clearer statuses for updated tasks to a rewritten SyncLog, a view that helps you see the most current version of your work, we made it much easier to work on your tasks even without internet connection.

- Wrike Labs Release: Disable Automatic Task Rescheduling ๐๏ธ
Now account owners and admins can disable automatic task rescheduling for the whole account. If they do so, task dates stay in place when you edit account-wide work schedules, task assignees add non-working days to their work schedules (vacations, sick leaves), or when you assign a task to a person whose work schedule exceptions overlaps with task dates.

- Stream View Not Working Correctly on Free Accounts
When clicking Stream from the Home page or Launchpad, you should be taken to Shared with me in Stream view. Instead, free account users were seeing the same Shared with me, but it in List view. Fixed now ๐จ

- @Mentions Causing Errors in Quoting Comments
Quoting a comment or part of one which included an @mention didn't work correctly for some of you. The quote was being duplicated and the mention broken. It has been fixed โ๏ธ

- External Users Couldn't Input or Edit Custom Fields Values
Some external users experienced issues with editing and adding custom fields values to tasks that were shared with them with the right access role (Editor, Full). Fixed ๐ ๏ธ

Have this view of the custom fields is HUGE and very helpful. ย It would also be nice to be able to enter a description or intended use of each field as well. ย We maintain a separate document outside of Wrike for our Admins to reference but with the grid view it would be great to have that information in the system as well.

YES Phillip Wiedower! I recently took over the administration of Wrike and we didn't have a doc - needless to say we have a ton of custom fields and while I did everything I could to see which were and were not being used - I still managed to delete on that a team was using and had to spend hours resurrecting it on their projects and tasks. We do try to use prefixes in everything we do so that at least we have an idea of what team to go to and ask questions, but we failed on that when it came to custom fields.ย

Hi, It would be excellent if we could organize the custom fields within the settings manager. Perhaps a simple folder structure to group custom fields to more easily review & edit fields. This would also help group reporting custom field formulas from normal custom field formulas since those are the 1 type of custom field that do not carry over from project/task to reporting.
Agreeing to Kate's comment it would be great to possibly see into custom fields to see where they are being used.
