A question for you, how are you using Space Level Workflows? ๐ค
This very exciting release is now complete and if your account has access to custom workflows then space admins can now create and edit team-specific workflows without having to involve account admins.
How can this be useful? ๐ค
Letโs look at an example. Letโs say you:ย
- Work in a Marketing Agency
- Have spaces for your various teams (social, blog, video content, etc)
Challenge:
While a workflow for creating social media and blog content can be similar, there still may be differences for these two types of content workflows.
Solution:
Instead of using a universal โContentโ workflow, itโs now possible for the social space admin to set up a specific workflow for the team to use.ย
This approach is super helpful when it comes to tracking and reporting on activities. Now, when the social team members work on their projects and tasks, they will not use the wrong workflow status accidentally. This comes especially handy when the time comes for reporting on social content!ย

Our team develops a variety of types of content for professional development deliveries. We are identifying the steps in the process still to develop our workflows but we are hoping this will assist us in tracking the progression as we work. As of now, everything is tracked through minute task completion and isn't as easy to process visually.
This will definitely help keep things cleaner as each other was developing their own custom workflows and naming accordingly.

Our problem is always that every side of our company has their own workflow. So side admins are floated with workflows. A change to space workflows (only showing up in the space) will help to keep overview. Problem I see at the moment, that I am not clear how to convert a general workflow to a space workflowย (I do not want to make all workflows new) and how to use a space workflow in different spaces (so to use one space workflow in two spaces, or do I need than to use a general workflow again).
We use account-level workflows, but plan to move them within spaces for greater accuracy.

As we are expanding how people access Wrike via Spaces, this explanation will help us a lot. We have been using account level workflows, but will start exploring Space level workflows in the near future.
I would love to be able to utilize this more! Will there be a capability of moving an account workflow over to a space workflow? I have them added to a specific space, but lack the ability to edit unless I am in the account admin space. Being able to convert it to a space workflow would be great!
We have the same situation as Sven Passinger.
Another plus 1 for Sven Passinger's description. Currently using account-level workflows, but not sure yet how to easily move this across to (several) spaces.

We use both account level workflows and also custom space workflows as well - it's much easier for a space admin to access and create as needed now being in the Space Admin Settings!
Workflows are definitely helpful and I have a specific one to use for social media. Space Level Workflows are helpful because it's just another way to make Wrike more customizable!
The custom space workflows are not showing up in the workflows end point in the wrike API (https://www.wrike.com/api/v4/workflows) Any thoughts here?
Few questions to under how this works,
Is there a specific access to be given to the space workflows or anyone who has access to the space gets the space workflow access by default.
Can we use multiple custom workflows for projects alone. Is this possible.
