Do you have meetings with stakeholders to learn about task statuses? Want an easy way to show a custom report, as well as dive into overdue tasks? If so, here's a tip:
If you use the app or web version: have multiple tabs open. The first is your custom report (from project completion %, project burn down, % tasks in progress, etc). Have then an Analytics view (which can tell a similar story-but with a clickable option to follow up on a theme) that can deeper dive into, maybe overdue tasks. This can lead to a row by row conversation with each stakeholder, and still allow for input from anyone.
I've found having various views open benefits each person in different ways. Lastly, if you're using a different screen resolution (maybe from an external monitor) consider memorizing the keyboard shortcut to zoom in/out!
