When an inbox message no longer requires your attention, just can click on the box with the arrow that points down to archive the message! This reduces clutter and helps you stay focused.

The archive and snooze function are quite helpful, I agree.
But it should be mentioned here that the inbox is not to be used as a todo list.
It is cleansed automatically after 30 days, even the archive and snoozed elements.
