I am new to Wrike, and I know the goal is to sell more licenses. But, because of our structure, we only have one project manager (me) and adding more licenses would not be a good use of money. its just not practical since most of the project teams change frequently and we would have to buy 100 licenses for them to only use %5 of what we are paying for.
All I want is to be able to use the "Assign" field as a fillable field instead of an invite sending one. I am just needing to be able to see "employee 1" is assigned to "Task 1" so that I can monitor progress myself. I dont want/need "Employee 1" to have access to anything. I am trying to do it by creating a drop-down list of the team members as a custom field, but sometimes I have multiple people assigned to one task and the drop-down doesn't work for that and just a plain text field isn't ideal/doesn't display enough characters. Thoughts on a better way?
