"Auto-Follow" should follow the same rules as "Follow"
When a 'Request' is submitted, the submitter "auto-follows" the task. But in the Widgets/inbox when filtering to "Tasks i follow" it doesn't include the auto follows.
Please, either:
Make them follow the same filter, so "auto-follow" appears when filtered to "tasks I follow" or make one available in the Filter/Dashboards.
On the same note, Create a filter for "Tasks I submitted through a Request" instead of just "Author: current user"
Thanks

seems to me more lika a bug than a missing feature. Is it the same issue as here?: https://help.wrike.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360038300914-Auto-follow-when-creating-a-task-is-not-setting-me-as-the-follower
Hi Florian Kislich, this does seem to be the same issue as the one you've linked to here. Brandon Settje, I would recommend adding your voice to that thread so that you can be kept up to date.
I don't have an update from the Product team at the moment, but as soon as I do, I'll be sure to let you know.
The way this is implemented does not make sense. Is it a bug? If I look at the task, it shows I am following (when auto-follow is how it is followed). But it does not show up on tasks I follow. So I have to unfollow and re-follow, then it shows up. This is not a good experience. Inconsistent and unexpected odd behaviour.
In addition, when you filter by this, it does not show up properly on the filter widget. It shows as 1 filter, but nothing show at the bottom. Hope the UX can be looked at, as this is the type of thing that is off putting.
Hi everyone! I have good news from the Product team - they have plans to rework the 'following' functionality in 2021. I'll let you know once I have more updates from the team 👍
