How can I duplicate a project and reschedule it?
At the moment when I duplicate a project and select to reschedule it initially schedules it for 2010 and when I leave it for a while and return the dates are in the right year 2018-2019 but they are not in the right order
The whole project itself only spans over 4 months
The event day should be the third from last task. I have taken screenshots of my template and the (wrongly) rescheduled project
Please advise!
Thank you
Zoe
Hi Zoe:
Are you clicking on the Reschedule option when duplicating? this will let you choose the end or start date, and all tasks will roll with the flow.
In trying to troubleshoot, I found the same issue. I am rescheduling the starting task to the same date and it re-orders my tasks within the project. It keeps the dates and dependencies but the order is off. This makes it difficult if you're making the same change to dependencies on two "clone" projects.

@Lisa Thank you!
Lisa - is this still an issue or has it been resolved?
Hey @Gabriel, thanks for reaching out!
At the moment, duplicated folders will automatically be sorted in the Gantt Chart using the default sorting. This can't be changed in the settings anywhere and can only be done manually - export/import the Folder/Project, as this will always retain the sorting order as per the excel file.
