Assign an automatic due date from a request form
We have an SLA to respond to requests within a 48hr period. When we are using Trello we had it set up so that when a request was submitted it automatically assigned a due date 48 hours ahead. The card would then turn red as that date approach. We really miss this functionality and would love for it to be replicated in Wrike,
We can't use the project template workaround as we don't use projects, just tasks.
Hi Angus, thanks for the feedback here! I don't have an automatic solution for you (and we'll share your feedback with the team), but I did want to share two things you could do with the current functionality to hopefully make your team's work a little better:
Thanks Stephanie, I did find a workaround for the time being from someone on these boards but I'd still really like it to be as described above.
For the workaround we ask the form submitter to select today's date as a mandatory question then assign this to the project start date and use the auto rescheduling of the the template tasks (align with project start date) to add two days on to that date by having them set as 3-day-long tasks. It's not ideal but it does work,

We had a similar SLA requirement on new work requests. We didn't want to have the user enter "Today's Date". What I did was have the form apply a project template. The first task has a due date set to "Today" and the second Task using the first as a predecessor.
Then set up a dashboard watching that "New Request" folder for "New" Tasks, Sorted by Date.
We happen to have 2 tasks in our process, but the system does allow you to either set a custom date with the duration as 2 Days, which may work if hours are important.
How many up votes are needed for the suggestion for SLAs to get implemented into the request forms? Curious if I need to force all my users to click this or not.

Here's a similar workaround we use, via Wrike Integrate. This recipe could easily be adjusted to set the task due date based on the form submission date, eliminating the need to ask for a date in the request form.

This example solution assumes that the request form generates a single new task, and it requires a couple of Wrike custom fields (available on Wrike Business and Wrike Enterprise). This solution could be modified to work for request forms that copy tasks or projects, as needed.
With this solution, the request form asks for a single date from the submitter, along the lines of "When do you need this request completed?". The resulting task created by the request form submission will reflect the following:
