Also, for recurring tasks that are not generated upfront it would be ideal to be able to have the ability to set the auto-generation date instead of 1 day before the due date.

Didn't have this issue until recently, forgot to mention.  Computer restarts don't help for long, Chrome is running latest version.

We are doing that as well as using custom field named Deadline where we can select that and populate a date and then use a Report view to show that field.
