๐ Releases - Template Improvements and Pesky Bugs Squashed (03/21/2022)
Feature Updates

- Work Templates - Improved Customizing for Template Suggestions ๐ค
As you may know, space admins can choose which templates should be automatically suggested in a particular space. Until now, if a template was suggested in a space, the suggestion applied to all the projects, folders, and tasks in it. We've made this more customizable so that you can change the suggestions for individual work items, as well as for the space as a whole. If you choose a suggested template for your space, by default all items will show it, but you can now turn a suggestion off and turn others on in any project, folder, or task.
- Work Templates - Easily Star Created Tasks or Add Them to My To-do ๐
Now when you are viewing the details of a task created from a template, you can use the three-dot menu to star it or add it to My to-do โญ
Fixes
- Outlook Add-in Showing Black Screen at Login โฌ
Since March 9th there has been an issue with the Outlook add-in and Outlook desktop, after logging in users were just seeing a blank screen. This is fixed now!
- Job Roles Couldn't be Created Unless One Already Existed ๐ฉโโ๏ธ
Some of you noticed you were unable to create a new job role unless at least one job role already existed in your account. If no job roles existed you were left fruitlessly clicking Create job role without results. We're pretty sure we've successfully fixed this for all accounts, but we're keeping an eye on it ๐.
I probably missed something in a previous update - but why is the star function available outside of the three dot menu on those specific tasks? Thanks!ย
Hi Elizabeth Bayer! I'm not sure I understood your question - do you mean that you see a separate (not in the three-dot menu) option to star a task created for work templates?ย
