[From Wrike] How to Manage Your Work in Wrike ๐Ÿ“Œ

ย
Hi everyone!ย ๐Ÿ‘‹ย
ย
We know how important it is to stay on top of your work in a way that suits you, especially these days when your work management platform is your virtual office and a single source of truth for your work. We've therefore explored several ways to manage your day using Wrike. Keep reading ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ™‚
ย

Inbox

Your Inbox is a good place to start your day, as all of your important notifications are in it. You get a notification here when you are assigned to a project or task or if you are @mentioned in a comments section. Check out the full list of Inbox notifications here.
ย
Tip #1: If you receive a notification that you can't deal with immediately, you can snooze it and be notified about it again at a different time.
ย
Tip #2: If you want to review what you've asked your team members to work on and check the progress, use Sent tab in your Inbox:
ย

My to-do

My to-do is a smart list that resides in your Personal space and contains all tasks that are assigned to you and also tasks that you manually added to it. This is a great place to manage your own work. Hereโ€™s what you can do here:
ย
  • Manually add a task or a subtask that is not assigned to you - just click the pin icon that appears in the upper-right corner of the Task view.

ย ย
You can also remove tasks from My to-do.
  • Use filters to see only active tasks, only overdue tasks, or all tasks.
  • Sort tasks by priority, date, date modified, date created, status, importance, or title. Sorting by date allows you to see your tasks in sections โ€œOverdueโ€, โ€œTodayโ€, โ€œThis weekโ€ and โ€œLaterโ€. If you sort by priority, you can drag and drop your tasks to set the correct priority for each of your tasks.ย
  • Use mass actions within โ€œMy to-doโ€ to quickly edit multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Display tasks and subtasks as a plain list or hierarchically.

ย

Dashboards

A great way to visualize your work is creating a Dashboard. You can use pre-made widgets or create custom widgets.ย
ย
The widgets that we recommend using for monitoring your work are โ€œTasks Assigned to Meโ€, โ€œTo Do Today/This Weekโ€ and โ€œMy Overdue Tasksโ€.ย
ย
ย
Wrike Dashboards are flexible - you can also create custom widgets using various filters:
ย
ย
Tip #1: You can create a dashboard widget from the List view that shows tasks from a particular folder, project, or space:
ย
Tip#2: You can also add Search results to a dashboard widget:
ย
Tip#3: Use your personal space to create folders and tag tasks with these folders to easily find your work later. Based on the structure created in your personal space, you can create custom dashboards to monitor your work.
ย
We hope you found this helpful!
