[Status: Investigating ๐ต๏ธโโ๏ธ] Blueprint project tasks in folders
We currently have a lot of blueprint projects that we use request forms to kick off. The tasks in these blueprints are automatically in the project it kicks off. Is there a way to have the tasks in the blueprint project automatically go into other folders as well? Before blueprints, we could have the templated project that we duplicated in a request form have tasks in that project each go into a different folder, but blueprints we don't have that functionality.
Example: Project A has task 1, 2 and 3 in it. When kicked off, if you click into task 3, it is located in the project. We want the ability to have task 2 ALSO be in a folder called 'Paid Search New Requests', and task 3 to be in 'Content Team New Requests'. Currently we have to manually add those tasks to the project.

I have had several team members ask me if a blueprinted project or folder could be deployed into multiple folders so that it is cross-tagged from the start. It would be great to have this functionality.ย
This would make the blueprints more effective, please launch this now!!
Thank you for your feedback Stephanie Bailey! I'm passing it on to the team nowย ๐

You currently can cross-tag or double-tag a single task from a project blueprint into another folder once the blueprint is used to launch a project:
However, we would like the ability to cross-tag, or double-tag, the entire Project into another folder location.ย Currently the ability is only on the task-level and not the project-level.
For example, we have a Request Form that has a checkbox list of all the Marketing Channels we will use for the project.ย The Form is using a "Project Leader Blueprint" for a top-level project, then for each Marketing Channel selected it adds a sub-project from that channel's blueprint.ย Since each channel has their own Space we'd love to double-tag that sub-project being created to the channel's space in an "incoming projects" folder for visibility to the entire team.
Thank you for your detailed feedback Meredith Selden! ๐

This functionality would be so helpful to our team. We utilize this functionality with our tasks and it would be great if the project blueprints had the same functionality.
Hi Ashley Fischer, thank you for adding your support for this suggestion and sharing your use case. I've passed it on to our Product team. Please be sure to upvote the original idea if you haven't yet ๐๐ผ
This would be really really helpful. Its a pity that only tasks can be put into multiple folders but not projects. Is it best to upvote this idea or is there another one somewhere that's maybe a bit more clear?
This would help a lot! Please launch "creating from a blueprint add to location" to project blueprints as well!ย ๐

Hi everyone! I'd like to share some good news here - the team has been researching this and now they are looking at the best ways to implement this as a new feature in the H2. For that reason, I'm changing the status of this thread to "Coming Soon". As soon as I hear any other updates about this I'll let you know!
@... are you also researching the feature that makes it possible to cross-tag/double-tag the entire Project into another folder location? (see Meredith, Rachelle and Charlotte's comments)
Hi everyone, we have a quick update from the Product team. The team came to the conclusion that they need more time than they have estimated for the successful implementation of the feature. Therefore, we are updating the status here to "Investigating" for now.
They are looking at its feasibility, possible effects on other features, and other criteria to ensure that if this suggestion is implemented, it can be done so successfully. We don't have any more information to share on this at the moment and there is no time frame available yet, but as soon as we have more news to share here, we'll be sure to update the thread.

Hi Rozhin Moradi! I don't have an update on this second suggestion here, but our Product team is aware of it and we will let you know if there are any updates in the future ๐
