[Best Practices] Best Work View for You ๐
- List View
- Board View
- Table View
- Gantt Chart

- List View is best for working on a list of tasks, working on tasks one by one, mass editing tasks, and prioritizing tasks.
- Board View is best for quickly viewing and changing statuses, or to have a simple view with fewer details.
- Table View is best for working in a spreadsheet format, managing a portfolio of projects, quickly editing project details, or adding custom fields.
- Gantt Chart is best for quickly viewing and editing project timelines and dependencies, and for viewing critical paths.

We are constantly in List view! We migrated over from a custom made project management platform to this and the list view has helped our users feel comfortable with their tasks.
I am also transferring projects we have on trello and am going to make the default view the kanban board to help users feel comfortable transitioning everything to Wrike.
Thanks for letting us know, Katherine A! ๐
I'm really happy to hear you're feeling comfortable with Wrike! I'd also recommend using My to-do smart list for managing personal work

List view for me, for my team I'd like board view as I feel it would present the data better. But time will tell.
Thank you for sharing, Jono Watkins!ย ๐

Lisaย my team seems to prefer list view. The Mass Edit function is great, and list view is less overwhelming to most people.ย
Glad I found this article! Was thinking about creating a similar resource for my team, but now I know I can just send them this way.ย
