Query Projects created by form request

Is it possible to query field data from Wrike using api when a form request is submitted? Currently the form request is set to create a wrike project.
How can we query which projects have been created from a particular form request?
Is there a sample to do this?

There's no documentation to query this detail via API.

However, if you're looking to report on Requests I've seen people in the past not use API calls for this. Instead, they ensure all Requests are tagged to a 'Requests' Folder within Wrike. Then simply run Report from that folder to see Requested projects.

Maybe this helps? If not it would be great to understand what you're looking to show or achieve by seeing this data so we can think about some workarounds 👍

We want to be able to pull data, entered via wrike form into internal company systems. I was planning to query the folders like https://www.wrike.com/api/v4/folders?permalink=https://www.wrike.com/open.htm?id=357702323 and extract JSON data.
The 2 problems which I have is
1)returns empty JSON if the permalink is for a folder which is not shared with me (although the bearer token was created using an admin account).
2)I would not know the permalink id each time a project folder is created. So need a way to query folder/project created by a particular form

Hi Rajat

While you can do this via the API, I was wondering whether you can actually do this via Wrike. It may be a tad manual but if you don't have a high volume to requests it may be OK.

Firstly, a RF can only result in a creation of one project. I am assuming you are not using fancy branching in your form but even if you are, the set of all possible projects created from a given form is finite and known in advance. so you should be able to easily ID the projects for a given form. Next you could export these projects from Wrike and use that to feed your internal system.

If this is not going to work for you then you will need to build an integration between Wrike and your internal system. This can be done and (given certain pre-requisites) is not that hard if you know how to use the API. However, this forum is not really suitable for a full explanation.

Regarding your code snippet, this is now how you would do it. Firstly the ID you use is the one you see in Wrike whereas the API uses internal IDs which look completely different. Secondly the API call you describe is wrong. It takes the form of https://www.wrike.com/api/v4/folders/<id> . BUt like I said, here is not really the best way to discuss this.

I suggest you reach out to your AM and talk to him/her about maybe engaging PS to help you out.
