Is there a way to move multiple projects at one time?
At the end of the year, I need to move all completed projects from a general Completed folder into a nested 2018-Completed folder (for example). Do I really have to drag and drop hundreds of projects? There should be a way to select multiple projects--am I missing it?

Ok, I found a workaround that is pretty painless, which was to pull out the nested folders from general Completed, rename the general Completed folder as 2018-Completed, then create a new general Completed folder and move all the nested folders back in there. This worked but is a bit messy, and I don't understand why there isn't a Mass Edit feature when viewing projects in a folder, the way there is when viewing tasks in a project. A suggestion for the future (if I'm not missing it).
Hi Emily, welcome to Wrike Community 🙂
Currently there is no Mass Editing option for projects. This might be a good suggestion for our Product Feedback section 👍 Glad you found a workaround, and I really like the way you did that!

Since projects can be in multiple folders at once you could add projects to a folder named 2018 Projects as you go. As you set them to "Completed" they would hide from the left-hand nav (as long as "Show Completed Projects" is unchecked) in the filter. We do a similar thing with assigning projects to client folders.
Thank you so much Emily Jordan using your trick solved a HUGE amount of work for me!
Agree Emily Jordan, and this same issue applies to folders. A pain when moving several dozen folders to an archive folder. No way to mass select folders and cross tag either.
Thank you for supporting Emily's suggestion and sharing your feedback Aaron, I've moved the thread to our Product Feedback forum now so please be sure to upvote the original post if you haven't yet 🙌🏼
So Emily's solution didn't work for my particular problem but I learned that under the project title is a tag of the folder where it's located. I can add the project to the archive folder by adding a tag then delete the tag from the folder it was in so it's not in both places. Still have to go through each project which is not convenient but better than dragging and dropping!! I wish we could drag and drop between windows - that would have also been a do-able work around.
Would this be an option for you? Please, let us know. Also, you can visit our New to Community forum to get the most out of your experience with our Community 🙂
