Advanced Conditional Logic in Request Forms and Table View (math. formulas) along with populating the data to another report or table

With current mathematical functions in Table View and Conditional Logic in Request Form, it's impossible to use basic math. functions except of SUM and AVG. It would be much more comfortable to use if you could automate the process in order to decrease manual work. E.g.: we use table view with multiple custom fields  such as Cargo value, Deposit ,Balance and we for each project wi have to count separately each value and then to input this value into the custom field.

If it's possible to set up Conditional logic in the Request Form or Table view to connect custom fields with advanced mathematical formulas (similar to Smartsheet)- that would be nice and would save lots of time.

+1 for this. Additionally, we would like to be able to have formulas that can be used for sub-totals or aggregation within a group of tasks, especially for rolling up from sub-tasks to a parent task.

For the integration into existing systems the ability to trigger workflows from e-mail and API specifications would be a critical functionality for us

I am not sure of this is the intent of this suggestion or not.  If not, consider this a new suggestion.  Or, if this functionality exists, please point me to the appropriate article/documentation.

I have created three date related fields - Actual Start, Actual Finish, and Actual Duration.  The Actual Duration is the difference between the Actual Finish and Actual Start dates.  I would like to add the condition to the formula that if either of the two actual dates are blank, then the duration should be blank.  Without that condition, duration will always be populated, which does not make sense.   If nether task has been started, then the duration value will be 1d.
