Great tip Elizabeth Bayer, thank you for sharing! To be honest, I didn't use to use these two @mentioning options, but lately, I've found it's often a lot easier than mentioning people one by one. There can be exceptions of course, but overall it's a very useful tip 🤗

I have had issue with those since there is risk for those who are key stakeholders to not necessarily be a follower or an assignee. Providing an SOP of how to communicate certain updates may be useful. Also, because I am the main Wriker and create most of the items in our system, I get @followers mentioned far too much when the instanced called for specific stakeholders to be tagged rather than blanketing. I did set the standard that @followers // @assignees was used for updates and questions should be directed to the POC for the project or the relevant people specifically to avoid confusion.
Thanks, Jessi Beamer for taking the time to post here 😊 It's great to hear different practices from our members!
We have lots of project groups as well as dept groups - this works better for us than @followers as often the people you want to mention aren't a follower. (We also use these groups for permissions and access). We add users to as many groups they need to be in.
I also suffer from loads of mentions that are irrelevant for me, as Jessi Beamer said I am the main Wriker too!!
Thank you for sharing Dawn Kirby, appreciate your insights about user groups 🙌🏼
Curious if anyone knows a want to batch add or remove followers to tasks?
Hi Cheryl Venable, currently, it's not possible to mass add/remove followers to a task though you can share the task with user groups you've created. Please feel free to create a separate Product feedback post if this is something you'd be interested in having in Wrike 🙋🏻♀️
Thanks, @..., will do!
