Space-level Workflows not available in Space-Level Request Forms?

So I really hope I am just missing it somehow, but it seems like I have stumbled upon a big issue with Space-Level Workflows and Request Forms - the Request Forms cannot see/use Space-Level Workflows???

We have just gone through the tedious process of manually copying/re-creating account level workflows into space level for two of our offices (so far), because afaik it is still not possible to simply duplicate then copy an account-level workflow to space-level (p.s. it's off topic today but pleaaaase make this possible soon!)

After this manual duplication process, I went to the relevant Space's Request Forms to switch all the "IF... THEN change status to" arguments from the temporary "holding" workflows these were sitting on while we built everything, over to the shiny new Space-Level Workflows... only to discover I could not see any Space-Level Workflows as an option to switch these arguments to. I can only see Account-Level Workflows as options.

Please please tell me I am just missing something simple here and that it is not true that Space-Level Request Forms and Space-Level Workflows cannot see each other?? 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I have the same issue. Can't have a request form create a task/project with a Space-specific Workflow.

This is a major flaw!

This same issue is causing problems for me as well.  My space's default workflow is an option, otherwise I can only choose Account workflows :/

Hi Brenton Calhoun, a possible workaround provided by our Support Team is:

  1. If your form is set to create a new task from scratch, and the folder set in the "Place task into" field belongs to the space as the form > you will be able to select the custom space workflow that is set as default for that space.
In the following example, we've created a custom workflow & set it as default in the space '1213':

Set the form to create a task and place it in a folder in space '1213':

With this setup, you're able to select the default space workflow here:

Only the workflow that was set as default for the space will be available for selection.

  2. If your form is set to create an item from a CIT (custom item type), it will pull the workflow set as default for that custom item type.

If your default space workflow is different from the default workflow of the CIT, you can use this workaround:

1. When building the form, first choose a folder in the "Place task into" (it should be in the same space that the form belongs to)
2. Next, select the status:

3. Only after a status is selected, choose a CIT to create the task from:

In case this doesn't help, please let us know and we can create a ticket with our Support Team on your behalf 👍

Good Morning everyone :-), I am really wondering if we could highlight this issue to Wrike to consider this for the future enhancement of Wrike. From my side this would be a logical element which is not available. Workarounds are not an ideal solution here. @Wrike: could you consider this in future? Thank you :-)
