Request form enhancements
Hi Wrike team,
Request forms is a great way to organize and bring in the more streamlined intake process and my organization heavily uses this feature to build forms and take requests a for variety of work. However, the backend or the Request form editor for an admin is not very user friendly, especially when your form gets complex and has layers and branching that consist of about 30+ pages!
Here are some improvements i suggest to help use this feature more efficiently by an admin
1. Allow nested questions or branching based on the responses: This will help to reduce the number of pages we need to ask based on the responses to the question earlier.
2. Quick shift or moving pages: If I want to move or arrange a few pages, i need to do this one page at a time. For example, In the request form, if I add a new page, A- it sits at the bottom of the list and not where i want to add it quickly in between pages. B- if i want to move it to a particular place, it will work only with one move up or down at a time! Think about doing this with 30+ pages !
3. Scrolling or finding a page: It is difficult to jump to a particular page, or even scroll up and down if you have many pages. Some options like go to top or bottom should be added. Or an option to jump to specific pages quickly.
Thanks Piyush Menon for posting! I know the Wrike product team is working on several updates and looking forward to seeing their updates!
+1 for a UI overhaul to create a better form building and updating experience for admins! I think Piyush's request here is similar to Mo's post from a few years ago where I've just added some more details from my POV: https://help.wrike.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360029912633-Organizing-request-forms-and-workflow-view-mgmt?page=1#community_comment_14530592384023
Hi @... Yes, for example, My question is - Select the Blueprint from a list of options available, based on the blueprint option selected, I want the user to be presented with the follow-up questions listed on the same page. Currently, we have to manage this with redirect to a separate pages. Hope that helps.
Thank you for sharing more detail Piyush Menon, it does help 🙂 We'll pass your feedback to our team.
