Bug? Reports showing different results!

Answered

Hi,

When I produce a report for the same set of data (i.e. select the same boxes for Report Type, Source Data, Filters), each layout produces different result!!

If I chose to produce the data in Table layout, I get a total of 57 records, but if I change the layout to graph, it produces 56 records!  See attachments below:

Check to see if row 1 in your table view is the "status group" (per your "group by" option). If so, you should have 56 records in 57 rows

Hi Stuart,

First, thank you for your reply, much appreciated.

Oddly yes that's correct. The status group is on raw 1 and when I selected other filters (with multiple grouping) each grouping header was also on a numbered raw.

Not sure whats the use of the sequel numbers on the first column, in fact it may confuse those who i will share this table reports with (or I should probably advise them that the numbering does not reflect the count of entries in the table unless they remove any grouping from the filter).

It is what it is, thanks for pointing that out Stuart
