Seeing projects, rather than tasks, in workload view
Hi there, I manage a large team working across multiple projects. Workload view (especially with effort allocation) seems very useful in giving me an overview of team utilisation, but the granularity it provides is often too detailed for my needs. What would suit me much better would be if I could see at a high level which projects the team is working on. So rather than showing tasks in the workload view, I'd like to see projects - is that currently possible? If not, it would be an extremely useful feature to add. Thanks, MW

I agree with this and was just about to put this request in as well.ย ย
From a project management perspective, I need to look at all the projects that have been assigned to the current project manager. This allows me to not over book a PM, but can see who has what time available and when they will be available for new projects.ย

Agree ! It's actually a feature I'm looking for before choosing the best Project Management Tool. I need a global workload view as a manager. Is this feature coming soon?
Thanks,Nicolas

We're having the same issue with our team, especially the folks on the production side. The My Work view is overwhelming because it shows a number of tasks that look exactly the same since we use a number of request forms to create our Projects/Jobs.
The only workaround I've found is to create a Task Report for each user on the production team filtered by All Active, with the date set for the fiscal year, grouped by Parent folder, which for us is the Projects/Jobs.
After I run the report, I drag the Parent Folder column to the first position. The team member can later sort by due date, project name, etc.
We've just started using these, so the jury is out.
Wrike is very powerful and flexible, but one of the barriers I'm having with my team is this sensory overload. Coming off Basecamp, which was really simple (too simple), it's been jarring.

Iยดm also very interested in this feature. You have my vote.
Any updates on the development roadmap? Do you already know, when (or if) we can expect this feature to arrive in Wrike?

Hey guys, only just come across this page this is something we have been requesting since we started in 2016.ย We have many project types that reside within folders and then tasks fit within the projects.ย This allows the workload view to show head lines projects and parts of the projects for the multiple teams we run.ย One challenge to watch for is the user role, to ensure you have enough licenses to allow each member to be visible.ย The workload view is the most useful tool as a calendar function but in my eyes still the most lacking due to the restriction of user types and costs.

This is an absolute must. ย We have teams that use the workload view to monitor and allocate team members workloads, but if projects are not included, it is an incomplete view and the project is lost to to the manager.

When a team works on projects that continue to flow in and out, how is it recommended to manage workload of team members without being able to see these on a project level?ย
Having Projects in the Workload view similar to how is available in Table view would be a fantastic way to address this.ย

Hi, as a company that uses the project feature exclusively in Wrike it is highly disappointing that this Workload feature cannot also pull projects. Other Wrike features have the option to pull projects, so it would seem natural that this would too.ย
A solution to this would be great.
