Hello Lacy! Thanks a lot for sharing your feedback here and I really appreciate you elaborating on your use case.

Currently, the best solution would be to do the following:

    1. Go to the parent Folder where your active projects live
    2. Switch to the Timelog View
    3. Filter the needed time frame
    4. Group your Timelog report by parent Folder

This would give you the desired outcome. I noticed in one of your tickets that you already tried this approach and it doesnโ€™t seem to work due to your tasks being tagged by multiple folders, but I wanted to mention it here in case it helps any other Community members.

The ideal solution would definitely be to filter Timelog entries in Reports. Plus, this would also allow to subscribe to such a Report and receive it automatically on your email! A similar request already exists and you can find it here. Iโ€™d strongly recommend to upvote it and add your use case as a comment there.

Some other awesome news is that this is indeed something weโ€™re considering, though there are no specific dates to share yet. :)

I hope the above makes sense and I'll be looking forward to your comment in the aforementioned post!
