Report Filters - Multiple Conditions - "Or"
I would like the ability to create reports and select multiple conditions.
- A report with tasks that are either currently in progress OR have been completed within a certain time frame.
- A report with tasks that have custom field "Customer Maintenance" OR "Error"
We currently have the ability to create a report with tasks that are In Progress or Completed, but we cannot set a specific time frame for one or the other. In many cases, we are able to set "and" conditions, but not "or" -- that is, all results have to meet all selected filter conditions, but I would like to join certain sets of tasks with different conditions.
Hi Kiona, thanks for sharing this! There's a similar request for Boolean logic when filtering by Custom Fields, and though it isn't exactly what you're asking for here, I think it's a continuation of the idea you had and could be something you're interested in voting for too: Filtering by Custom Column Values- AND/OR logic.
Yes this is clearly a major flaw in the Reporting and searching - adding a search condition is a normal function in all the other systems I use and have ever used. IT is currently preventing me from overcoming another side effect of the granular nature of the Wrike/Asana/Trello approach to life...yes its easy to break everything down into small focused Tasks and then advance them in an Agile way but it generates a lot of instances where later you cannot find what it was you asked of a given person/user and hence the Reporting would be a useful way to find these items. instead you end up doing a general search from the magnifying glass search and then finding too many items which may be unrelated.

Wow, another blindingly obvious feature missing! Wrike has some great features and a lot of 'how can this be missing in a released product' features. Looks like I need two reports where I really only want one.
This would be great if you could filter the reports by and/or conditions that are met on either the task or project levels. For example, if the tasks are in a particular status AND if the project is in another status.
This is a crucial feature. should be implemented

The Product team is really interested in implementing this suggestion, but there are currently no plans to add this to the short-term roadmap. If there are any changes, I'll be sure to let you know.
