Overview

Ask AI is an advanced feature in Wrike Labs that helps you quickly find answers, uncover insights, and generate project summaries using natural language questions. It allows you to instantly access information from your workspace such as spaces, projects, or folders without the need for manual searching or compiling.

Key Features

Ask AI includes key features designed to enhance your productivity:

  • AI-Powered Workspace Q&A:

    Ask questions in plain English about your spaces, projects, folders, or tasks. Ask AI delivers clear answers along with direct links to relevant items, helping you quickly find the information you need.

  • Quantitative Dashboard Insights:

    Query dashboards for key metrics such as average completion times, number of proofing rounds, or overdue tasks. Ask AI generates instant, data-driven charts to support your reporting needs and enables you to drill down on the chart items.

  • Project Aggregation and Summaries:

    View high-level project updates directly in your sidebar, including current status, key risks, blockers, and summary notes, all without the need for manual input.

Enable AI from Labs

All users (except Contributors and Collaborators) on all paid accounts can enable AI from Labs for their individual accounts.

  1. Visit Wrike Labs.

  2. Scroll down to the Work Intelligence preview.

  3. Click Enable.

Once enabled, you’ll see the Ask AI button next to the header of your space, project, or folder.

Getting Started with AI

  1. Navigate to the relevant space, folder, or project where you want the work updates.

  2. Click the Ask AI button 1 next to the header.

  3. The Ask AI panel will open on the right side of your workspace.

  4. You can use a suggested prompts 2 or type your question in the dialog box 3.

  5. Press Enter to submit your question. Ask AI will gather information from the open space, project, or folder and show relevant answers with source links.

You can also copy the information by clicking the Copy Answer icon 4 that appears when you hover over the response.

Tip

You can share your feedback on the generated answer by clicking the Like or Dislike button.
