Overview
On the Workload View tasks are sorted based on assignee and are represented by bars which extend from the task’s start to end dates.
Important Information
- The Workload View shows only active tasks by default, but you can change the filter settings to view tasks with different statuses.
- Check "show full workload" to see tasks (which are shared with you) from all other Folders and Projects. Tasks from other Folders/Projects have no fill color on the Workload View, but have a border color which matches their status color.
- Check the box next to “Show Backlog” in the upper right-hand side of the Workload View (under the filter button) to see backlogged tasks.
- When you switch to the Workload View, you will see tasks which belong in that Folder/Project and in descendant Folders/Projects.
View Unassigned Tasks
- Select a Folder or Project from the Workspace’s left-hand Navigation panel.
- Switch to the Workload View.
- Unassigned tasks appear at the bottom of the Workload View in the “Unassigned” section.
Assign Unassigned Tasks
- Select a Folder or Project from the Workspace’s left-hand Navigation panel.
- Switch to the Workload View.
- From the unassigned section at the bottom of the Workload View, locate the task you would like to assign.
- Drag and drop the task from the unassigned section to the row of the user who should be the new assignee.
The task is immediately assigned, and, depending on their settings, the new assignee may get an email notification informing them of the change.
Quick Tip: you can also drag and drop an assigned task into the “unassigned” section to remove task assignees.
Reassign a Task
- Select a Folder or Project from the Workspace’s left-hand Navigation panel.
- Switch to the Workload View.
- Drag and drop a task from the current assignee's row, to the row of the user who should be the new assignee.
The task is immediately reassigned, and, depending on their settings, the new and previous assignee may get an email notification.
