Regular users can add new people.
Okay so I added a new regular user to Wrike. Since I am an admin I can add new users. But then this new user started adding new users on his own but that is a bit of a problem. That means that everybody can just randomly add users. So if you create a new space and add an user there it will automatically use up a license if that person does not have an account yet. So yeah that is a pretty big deal, because that will enable regular users to add all kinds of people without having the "rights".
You should be able to control this under your owner/admin "security" settings:
Security
Invitation settings
Who can invite users to this account?
Owner and administrators onlyRegular users, owner, and administrators
Thanks for the help, I will check this with the owner.
Andrew Goddard So apparently it doesn't work.
This is what I get when I go to the security settings. And the Owner has the same screen so, any other tips??
I see that we don't have the enterprise license so that is why it isn't possible
Apologies for any misdirection.
Are there any plans to add this Security Setting of "who can invite users to this account" to the Business License? We also have the issue of regular users adding other users without telling admins, and using up our license count.
Hi folks! We've shared this feedback with our Product team now. They don't have immediate plans for changing this setting, but we'll continue sharing your feedback from this thread. Thank you for reaching out!
