What is the best way to track development velocity (e.g. as in pivotal tracker)?
Hi @Yaniv - You can track development velocityย several ways in Wrike. I would recommend reading moreย about Dashboards and Reports in our Help Portal!
For example, you can create a Report to show you when work was completed. You can also track this through a bottle-neck approach with our Workflow Report in Wrike Labs.ย
If you would like to provide more details on what you are specifically trying to track, I am happy to offer more information on how to best achieve that in Wrike.ย

@Kent McCracken
1) Can calendar be set up hourly?: That is great question, currently this is not possible to be set up hourly.
2) Can calendars and outlook synchronize daily, hourly or at all?: This also is not possible however here is our Help Portal article on iCalendar Feeds. The article covers how to view Wrike tasks on Outlook, Google Calendar, Calendar on Mac, or any calendar that supports iCalendars. I would love to learn more about your use case, if you can describe what exactly you are trying to see I can help provide more details on how to achieve that.
3) Calendars on iphone app?: Calendars are not yet available on the iphone app. This is something our Product Team wants to accomplish however it is not currently on the short term roadmap.ย
4) Wrike notification inbox icon is triggered when someone is assignedย a task and the inbox gets overly full. Can we turn off notification when assigned by someone?: You are unable to turn off the Inbox notifications. The best practices for your Inbox is to keep it tidy and archive no longer needed notifications out of your inbox. This way you Inbox does not get "overly full" and is kept tidy and up to date.

Dury, thank you for taking my questions. We are using Wrike for our daily tasking and calendars to assist in completing tasks. Tasks each day change priory due to the fluid nature of our industry. I would like to run only one said calendar to view my appointments and tasks. To also manipulate the tasks around my appointments because each day changes by the hour or day is very helpful.ย In short having Wrike as the task management and communication software is amazing, but integration with outlook (established appointment and outside company email communication software) will increase the accuracy of information meaning not double booking appointments or overlapping tasks into appointments. My teams love using the tasks in Wrike and talking out each task within the task itself.ย ย
Hi Kent - Thank you for your explanation on how you would like to envision utilizing calendars. Because Wrike currently does not allow you to manipulate tasks by the hour, it would be difficult to input an appointment as a task for a specific timeframe (ie 1:30 - 3:30pm). You are able to utilize the duration field and input a 2hr duration however that would not prevent double booking appointments, it would just subtract 2hrs from the total allotted working day.ย

@Dury I hadn't thought about that approach!
@Kent Personally I have a hard time focusing on something if it isn't blocked off on my calendar (we use Google Calendar). For me, I create dummy "work" blocks on my Google Calendar and then use that time to focus on specific things I need to get done (almost always related to tasks within Wrike). I've set it up so that others can't see my "work" blocks so the time is available for meetings or anything like that. This is definitely a way for me to focus so I'm not sure if it is what you're looking for, but wanted to share!ย

Hi. Are there plans to set notifications with longer durations? Daily notifications can become a source of spam if it'sย tasks that takes time to work on. Thanks!ย
Hi Shu-Dan Chen, thanks for your questions. Are you referring to daily emails? If so, there are currently no plans but I'm interestedย to hear what kind of duration are you thinking?
For your Wrike Inbox, snoozing notificationsย and setting reminders might be a good approach to keep on top of tasks that have due or start dates further in the future.
