Scheduling Report - Send email with report attached (Snapshot of the data at the scheduled time)

Currently the scheduling system works similarly as a google calendar reminder system. Wrike is sending an email at the scheduled time as a reminder to open and view the report in Wrike.

The problem with this is we constantly need to check our emails and be connected to the internet in order to get accurate data at the time scheduled.

I have already missed 2 weekly reports that I should have downloaded at 11:30 PM, I clicked on the link too late and missed the previous week data.

SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) has the option to attach a snapshot of the data at the scheduled time via email as an Excel attachment.

Can Wrike offer a similar option and attach the report email rather than a "view your report" link?

The purpose of scheduling a report is to get a snapshot of the data at a particular time.

We need a reliable reporting tool, at the moment we have nothing to capture the data reliably.

Please consider this request as High priority.

I agree with JJ Malfant.

I think it would be a great idea to schedule report snapshots so we are able to monitor the progress of the workflows on a monthly and weekly basis. 

I think this would be a great feature to add to the reporting system in Wrike.

This is logical feedback guys thanks for posting. The Product Team will be made aware of this and will consider it when reviewing the reporting functionality in the future. If I have any new information I'll be sure to update you here 👍

@Stephen Orowe Our primary users needed to be policed in the first months so we could get accurate reporting and track how our projects were going (200 projects with a total of 1000 tasks).

Example: A user forget to update a task status or move a task to a different folder by mistake, the task got omitted or counted as a wrong status in our reports.

After a few months of ongoing coaching and policing, our users are now doing less and less mistakes.

We still need the feature requested above.

Hello, just checking to see if there were any developments in this thread from the Wrike Product Dev team.  We're wanting to subscribe to Wrike reports and have an Excel attachment e-mailed to a mailbox that will then be imported into another system for reporting purposes.
