Feature Updates

We know that some of you were finding it difficult to navigate to Spaces in the New Wrike Experience. Your insights and feedback in relation to this (thank you!) have helped us to create a solution to address this - say hello to the New Hamburger Menu! ๐Ÿ‘‹ You'll find this in the upper-left corner of the workspace. It replaces the Show spaces button for quick navigation between spaces.
ย
Like Show spaces, the new hamburger icon opens the list of spaces you are a member of along with the Shared with me, Blueprints, and Recycle bin sections. However, unlike its predecessor, the hamburger menu is available from almost any view in the workspace, including the Inbox and My Home page.

ย
We've added two new columns to the Custom Field Management table: Times filled and Last filled on to give you the possibility to check if the custom field is actively used in the account. For example, before its deletion.
ย
The Times filled column shows how many times the field was filled in by users in any space, folder, or project. Last filled on shows the last time the field was filled in. The statistics are updated once a week on Sunday.
  • Please note that
-For now, for Formula-type custom fields, these columns will always display 0 since users don't fill them out manually.
-If there had been a value in a custom field, but then it was deleted, it won't be counted in the Times filled. But deleting the value counts as an action for the Last filled on column.
-In some accounts, these statistics aren't collected correctly, so the columns appear empty. For such accounts, we will temporarily hide the columns for now.
ย
We added a new connector group called Organic pages and a new group of custom fields with the same name.
ย
  • Context Creation Menu - Includes Folder and Project Blueprints ๐Ÿ’™
You can now quickly access folder and project blueprints from the context creation menu. The blueprints of the space you're in are listed, and you can use search to narrow down the options.
ย
ย
  • Wrike Proof - Hiding Resolved Proofing Comments ๐Ÿ’ฌ
From now on, all resolved comments in proofing will be automatically hidden from the comment panel, and their markers won't be visible in the proofing view.
ย
To see hidden comments, you can click Show resolved comments at the top of the comment panel or check the box next to the same button in the sorting menu.

ย

Fixes

  • Reports - Table Rows Expanded Automatically After Refresh
When you collapsed some rows in Table Chart reports and then clicked the Refresh button, the rows would be expanded automatically. This is fixed ๐Ÿ‘

Was "Locations" referring to the location of these items or is there a "Locations" feature coming?

More buttons need to be left visible, with context dialogs showing when mousing over a button. Some buttons aren't even visible until a particular area is moused over (i.e. ! task priority button) . I understand the need for clean UI but that can still be achieved while maintaining usability at a glance.
Hiding resolved comments by default was a startling change; it feels like it would be better to have the opposite by default and have the option to "tidy up" and hide resolved comments as the option.

Thanks for the continued work on the updates!

Hi Jordan Higgs, Jared Hendrickson, welcome to the Community! ๐Ÿค—

Jordan, yes, it's about their locations. I'm wondering what a "Locations" feature would be? ๐Ÿ˜Š

Jared, thank you for sharing your feedback, our team is keeping a close eye ๐Ÿ‘

Lisaย Our company has projects all over the country. Being able to have some feature to automatically sort projects into folders by location would be immense.

Thank you for clarifying Jordan Higgs! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Are you currently using tagging to link the projects to the locations' folders?ย
